Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Istanbul
.** As we say in Turkey, HOS GELDINIZ! Welcome to Turkey. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After a short briefing about your tour you will have the afternoon free to rest and explore Istanbul on your own.:overnight in ISTANBUL.
Day 2 - Istanbul - (B/L)
This will be a full day of exploring the historical sites of Istanbul.
Sites you’ll see today
* Blue Mosque--World renown for it’s architecture and focal point for worshipping Muslims.
* Haghia Sophia--1,400 year old supreme church from Byzantium times which houses famous Byzantine Mosaics.
* Byzantine Hippodrome-The focal point of the Byzantine Empire during the reign of Constantine. Within it’s center you will see the Egyptian Obelisk and Serpentine Column.
* Topkapi Palace--the residence and leadership center of the Sultans during the Ottoman Empire. It was built in 1459-1465 shortly after the conquest of Constantinople. You will see the Treasury that includes the Topkapi Dagger, the 86 carat Spoon Maker’s Diamond, and the jewel encased bones of St. John the Baptist’s skull and arm bone.
*Suleymaniye Mosque and the Grand Bazaar will also be visited during the tour.

Day 3 - Istanbul - (B)
This will be a half day of exploring the historical sites of Istanbul.
Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Bazaar), Mystical smells of different aromas of various spices. Shops selling fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish etc.
Bosporus Cruise, thorough the waterway separating the two continents, Europe and Asia, with a possibility to take photographs of marble palaces, ancient wooden villas of Ottoman architecture besides modern residential of luxurious apartments.
After the tour we will leave you at the grand Bazaar and give you free time to explore and some souvenier shopping. Overnight stay in Istanbul
Day 4 - Istanbul to Athens - (B)
After the tour we will transfer you to the Istanbul International airport and will put you on a 1 hour 10 minute flight to Athens.
KALOS ORISATE ! Welcome to Greece. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After a short briefing about your tour you will have the afternoon free to rest and explore Athens on your own. Overnight in Athens.
Day 5 - Athens - (B)
After breakfast around 08:30 am we will meet you at the lobby of your hotel and take you on a guided tour of Athens. You will explore Temple of Olympian Zeus, Panathinaiko Stadium ( where the first Olympic Games took in 1896, After that will drive by the Prime’s Ministers residence, Ex Royal Palace, (guarded by colorful Evzones) Zappion (Conference and Exhibition Hall), National Garden, Hadrian’s Arc, St. Paul’s Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown soldier, Schlieman’s House (Nomismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral, Academy, University, National Library, Old Parliament, Constitution Square ,Russian Orthodox Church, ACROPOLIS, (the you will visit Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Parthenon, Erechtheion and Museum of the Acropolis).
Early afternoon we will provide a transfer to your hotel or we can also drop you at Plaka so you can wonder around and explore more of Athens. Overnight stay in Athens.
Day 6 - Athens to Olympia - (B/D)
Around 08:30 am We will meet you at the lobby of your hotel and depart from Athens to Olympia, on the way you will visit ;
Corinth Channel : is a canal that connects the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. It cuts through the narrow Isthmus of Corinth and separates the Peloponnesian peninsula from the Greek mainland and therefore effectively making the former an island. The canal is 6.3 kilometers in length and was built between 1881 and 1893.
Epidaurus : was a small city in ancient Greece, at the Saronic Gulf. This territory was the sanctuary of the healing god Asklepios. Epidauria became the original travel destination for medical and health tourism
Nauplia : is a beautiful seaport town in the Peloponnese in Greece that has expanded up the hillsides near the north end of the Argolic Gulf.
Mycenae ; is an archaeological site in Greece, From the hill on which the palace was located one can see across the Argolida to the Saronic Gulf.
Evening arrival in Olympia, Check in the hotel, Overnight stay.
Day 7 - Olympia to Athens then to Cairo - (B)
After breakfast we will visit the ancient site of Delphi then we will return to Athens. After arrival in Athens we will provide a transfer to Athens international airport and put you on a 2 hour flight down to Cairo

We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After a short briefing about your tour you will have the afternoon free to rest and explore Cairo on your own. Overnight Cairo.
Day 8 – Exploring Cairo - (B)
After breakfast we will take you on a guided tour of in Cairo and the sites you will visit
Great pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus: The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza Necropolis bordering Cairo, and is the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World that survives substantially intact. It is believed the pyramid was built as a tomb for Fourth dynasty Egyptian King Khufu (Cheops in Greek) and constructed over a 20 year period concluding around 2560 BC.
Sphinx : is a zoomorphic mythological figure which is depicted as a recumbent lion with a human head. It has its origins in sculpted figures of Old Kingdom Egypt, to which the ancient Greeks applied their own name for a male monster, the "strangler", an archaic figure of Greek mythology.
The Valley Temple : the Valley Temple was built by Chefren with this unique feature of core masonry of limestone dressed by granite facing stones.
After the tour we will bring you back to your hotel and you will spend the night in Cairo.
Day 9 – Exploring Cairo – (B)
After breakfast we will meet you at the lobby of your hotel and continue on the guided tour,
Today you will visit : Egyptian Museum and Old Cairo
Egyptian Museum : The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, known commonly as the Egyptian Museums, in Cairo, Egypt, is home to an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities. It has 120,000 items, with a representative amount on display, the remainder in storerooms.
The museum's Royal Mummy Room, containing 27 royal mummies from pharaonic times, was closed on the orders of President Anwar Sadat in 1981. It was reopened, with a slightly curtailed display of New Kingdom kings and queens in 1985. Today there are about 9 mummies displayed. One of them is the newly discovered mummy of Queen Hatshepsut.
After visiting the Museum we will take you to Old Cairo and give you free time to walk and explore,
Old Cairo : Old Cairo contains the remnants of those cities which were capitals before Cairo, such as Fustat, as well as some other elements from the city's varied history. For example, it encompasses Coptic Cairo and its many old churches and ruins of Roman fortifications.
Then we will take you to your hotel and you will spend the night in Cairo.
Day 10 – Cairo to Home – (B)
MA AS SALAAMA – Good bye, It is time to go home. We will transfer you to the airport and wish you well, asking that you keep Egypt and all of us in your hearts, and hoping that our paths cross again in this life!
