Day - 1 - Istanbul to Trabzon - (B)
Early in the morning we will provide a transfer to Istanbul domestic airport and put you on a 1 hour 40 minute flight to Trabzon, upon arrival, you will see our transfer men holding a banner that has your name written on it, then we will drive to Sumela Monastery,
The Sumela Monastery : stands at the foot of a steep cliff facing the Altındere valley in the region of Macka in Trabzon Province, Turkey. Lying at an altitude of approximately 1200 metres, it is a major tourist attraction of Altındere National Park. Founded in the year 386 AD during the reign of the Emperor Theodosius I (375 - 395),[1] legend has it that two priests undertook the founding of the monastery on the site after having discovered a miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary in a cave on the mountain.
The principal elements of the Monastery complex are the Rock Church, several chapels, kitchens, student rooms, a guesthouse, library, and sacred spring revered by Orthodox Greeks. These were built over a very large area.
After visiting Sumela Monastery, we will return to Trabzon, you will check into your hotel, Overnight stay in Trabzon.
Day 2 - Trabzon to Uzungol - (B/D)
In the morning we will visit 13th century Hagia Sophia Church, Ataturk's Mansion and Trabzon Castle, then we will depart for Uzungol, upon arrival, we will check in the hotel and in the afternoon we will go on a trekking around the lake and the village, Overnight stay in Uzungol.
Day 3 - Uzungol to Parhal - (B/D)
After breakfast, We will depart from Trabzon, drive through Kackar mountains and go to beautiful Parhal ( Yusufeli ) Arrival in Parhal, check in the hotel, free day to explore the Monasteries in that area, Overnight stay in Yusufeli.
Day - 4 - Parhal (Yusufeli) to Kars (Dogu Beyazit) - (B/D)
After breakfast, Departure from Parhal to Kars, half day drive towards east , afternoon arrival in Kars, check in the hotel, Overnight stay.
Day - 5 - Visiting Dogubeyazit then to Van - (B/D)
After breakfast, We depart from our hotel and spend the day Ishak Pasa Monastery, and after visiting these sites we will be on our way to Van, evening arrival in Van, check in the hotel, Overnight stay.
Day - 6 - Van - (B/D)
After breakfast, We will take you on a full day tour to Historical sites in Van and to Akdamar Island on the van lake. Overnight stay in Van.
Day - 7 - Van to Istanbul - (B)
After breakfast, we will provide a transfer to Van Airport and put you on a 2 hour flight back to Istanbul.
Cost will be € 1285 person in double room and € 1825 for single supp.
